Pétrus è uno dei vini più leggendari e ricercati al mondo. Prodotto sul plateau di Pomerol, il suo terroir unico di argilla blu conferisce al vino profondità, tessitura e un'identità assolutamente distinta.

La vendemmia 2016 è al 100% Merlot. Il vino è stato invecchiato per 18 mesi in botti di rovere francese, il 50% delle quali nuove.

Presenta frutta nera intensa e pura, prugna, ciliegia, viola, tartufo, cioccolato fondente, liquirizia e note minerali. In bocca è potente e al tempo stesso setoso, con tannini estremamente fini, enorme concentrazione, equilibrio e un finale estremamente lungo.

An exceptional lot of three bottles of Pétrus 2016, presented in its original three-bottle wooden case — OWC3.

Pétrus is one of the world's most legendary and sought-after wines. Produced on the Pomerol plateau, its remarkable blue-clay terroir gives the wine extraordinary depth, texture and a truly distinctive identity.

The 2016 vintage is 100% Merlot. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of them new.

It displays intense and pure black fruit, plum, cherry, violet, truffle, dark chocolate, liquorice and mineral notes. The palate is powerful yet remarkably silky, with extremely fine tannins, tremendous concentration, balance and an exceptionally long finish.
