Rosario - Argento - 1920-1930 - croce ortodossa

Un interessante lotto di fusione culturale risalente a metà del XX secolo (circa gli anni '20‑'50), che comprende una medaglia mariana di produzione francese, un crocifisso ortodosso dell'Europa orientale e una custodia da tasca in stile europeo Art Déco su misura.
Structure:

Schema tradizionale del rosario cattolico a 5 decadi con perle sferiche metalliche rotonde collegate da una solida catena a maglie. Presenta una medaglia centrale di giunzione ornata a forma di cuore.
The Crucifix: Il Crocifisso:
Crafted in a traditional Eastern Orthodox style. The front displays the three-bar Orthodox cross with Christograms "ІС" and "ХС" (Jesus Christ). The reverse side is inscribed in Church Slavonic / Cyrillic script: "СПАСИ И СОХРАНИ" ("Save and Protect"). Clearly stamped with the "925" sterling silver hallmark.

The Companion Medal: La Medaglia Compagna:
A classic French Roman Catholic Miraculous Medal (Medal of the Immaculate Conception). The front depicts the Virgin Mary surrounded by the French inscription: "O MARIE CONÇUE SANS PÉCHÉ PRIEZ POUR NOUS QUI AVONS RECOURS À VOUS" ("O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee"), indicating French origin or manufacturing. The reverse displays the traditional "M" interlaced with a cross, twelve stars, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Pocket Travel Case: Design: Designed in the form of a miniature book with a fine aged patina. It features a secure piano-style spine hinge and a manual dual-button spring-catch release closure along the side edge. Monogram: The top lid is decorated with a raised oval medallion featuring an elegant, stylized script:
"Soli Deo Gloria" (Glory to God alone)
