In celebration of the Meisterstück centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of the iconic writing instrument in a collection inspired by the spirit of the Olympic Games Chamonix 1924. By a stroke of luck, 1924 marks, for the brand, the launch of the writing instrument that became one of its most coveted masterpieces, and, in that same year, the first Olympic Winter Games were held in Chamonix, at the foot of the Mont Blanc.

Per celebrare il centenario dello Meisterstück nel 2024, Montblanc rende omaggio alle origini del celebre strumento di scrittura in una collezione ispirata allo spirito dei Giochi Olimpici di Chamonix 1924. Per una coincidenza fortunata, il 1924 segna, per il marchio, il lancio dello strumento di scrittura che è diventato uno dei suoi capolavori più ambiti, e nello stesso anno si svolsero i primi Giochi Olimpici Invernali a Chamonix, ai piedi del Monte Bianco.

The Doué edition combines a precious resin barrel with a blue-grey tone - resembling the official colour chosen for the Winter Games, and a platinum-coated cap featuring an engraving of the mountain landscape of the Chamonix valley. The Olympic Rings are part of the Olympic Heritage logo engraved on the cap top ring, with an encircling wreath of leaves, reminiscent of those presented as the highest accolade to victors at the Olympic Games of Antiquity. The cap itself is engraved with the words “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” within a frame inspired by the cover of the official Games report. The anniversary cap ring bears both 1924 and 2024 symbolizing the importance of both years. Crowning the edition is the Montblanc emblem on the cap top embedded in precious coral-coloured resin, signature color of Montblanc. International Olympic Committee – All Rights Reserved

L'edizione Doué abbina un corpo in resina preziosa con tonalità blu-grigio, che richiama il colore ufficiale scelto per i Giochi Invernali, e un cappuccio platinato con incisione del paesaggio montano della valle di Chamonix. Gli Anelli Olimpici fanno parte del logo del Patrimonio Olimpico inciso sull'anello superiore del cappuccio, con una ghirlanda di foglie che richiama quelle conferite come massimo riconoscimento ai vincitori ai Giochi Olimpici dell'Antichità. Il cappuccio stesso è inciso con le parole “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” all'interno di una cornice ispirata alla copertina del rapporto ufficiale dei Giochi. L'anello del cappuccio anniversario porta sia 1924 che 2024, simboleggiando l'importanza di entrambi gli anni. A chiudere l'edizione è l'emblema Montblanc incastonato sulla sommità del cappuccio in resina preziosa color corallo, colore distintivo di Montblanc.
