With Travel – The Silent Crossing, Sonny Insinna expands his ongoing Travel series, a profound body of work in which animals serve as silent protagonists of a journey away from the violence, destruction, and monstrosities created by humankind.

A magnificent horse emerges with quiet dignity, its powerful profile rendered in a striking dialogue between deep charcoal and delicate washes of oil. Set against a pale, essential, and timeless background, the figure is punctuated by vertical and horizontal linear red marks that slice through the atmosphere, creating a suspended tension between natural grace and geometric human intervention.
