A stunning Venetian-style Louis XV table/nightstand, lacquered and decorated, handcrafted in the first half of the 20th century.
The piece features tall cabriole legs with curled feet, a shell-shaped apron, gilded moldings, and a single drawer with a lower shelf shaped to match the style of the upper section. The design is inspired by classic nightstands or entryway furniture produced in the Venetian style during the 18th century.
The top surface features a floral motif. Decorative details on the upper parts of the legs and the sides lend the piece an elegant and refined style.
The piece shows various signs of age, such as color fading, missing lacquer, and a worn ivory finish. It is therefore being sold as a decorative side table, but is also suitable for restoration.
Dimensions: height 61 cm, width 43 cm, depth approximately 30 cm.
