Descrizione del venditore

Tested with XRF and Acid 800 silver

This item is a multi-purpose vintage tableware, commonly made of silver (or silver metal) and stainless steel, which acts as both grape-cutting scissors and nutcrackers (or crustacean tongs).

The upper sharp tip is used to cleanly cut the rasps of the bunches of grapes without ruining the grains, while the curved and knurled sections placed just below the pin are designed to break the shells of dried fruit or the claws of shellfish. This type of serving cutlery, finished with elegant decorated handles (often in English or Empire style), was a typical element of the luxury tableware sets of the twentieth century, produced by historic silversmith brands such as Greggio .
