Bulova Accutron Day-Date – 1970 – Gold Plated – Tuning Fork – Fully Working
Description
Beautiful vintage Bulova Accutron Day-Date from 1970, an interesting example of Bulova’s famous electronic tuning-fork watch technology.
The watch features an elegant vintage design with a gold-tone cushion-shaped case, matching dial with applied hour markers, central seconds hand and day-date display at 3 o’clock.
The day indication is in Italian, an attractive period detail.
The caseback is signed Bulova and bears the date code N0, corresponding to 1970, together with case number 1-979923.
The case is gold plated and is marked “40 SAT” between the lugs. This marking is mentioned exactly as it appears on the watch.
The watch is fitted with a black leather strap.
Condition and functionality
The watch is fully functional and currently working correctly. The time, day and date functions operate correctly.
The watch is in good vintage condition considering its age. There are normal signs of use and age, including scratches, marks and some wear to the case and caseback.
