This is an extremely rare and impressive Omega Seamaster DeVille dating from the early 1960s. The watch is in very good vintage condition and features a distinctive bright silver brushed dial with steel tone baton markers. The watch keeps very good time and is running within its expected technical specifications.
The watch was professionally inspected and serviced by an experienced watchmaker in early September 2026, including cleaning, lubrication and general mechanical checks.
Dial: The silver brushed dial has some age-related blemishes and marks, which are more visible under certain lighting conditions. The beautiful shine of the dial gives the watch a particularly attractive appearance, and this type of dial is rarely encountered.
Case: The stainless steel case is in excellent overall condition, showing only light signs of wear consistent with its age.
Crown: The watch features its original Omega-signed crown, and all functions operate correctly.
Movement: The watch houses its original Omega 552 cal. automatic movement. The movement is in excellent mechanical condition and was professionally serviced and lubricated in early September 2026.
Case back: The monocoque case back is in very good condition and features the famous Seamaster logo. On this model, the case back is not screw-down; it is integrated into the monocoque case. The movement is accessed from the front by removing the crystal and dial.
Strap: handmade leather strap. It complements the watch beautifully and provides a luxurious look and feel on the wrist.
Crystal: Acrylic crystal.
