Cook & Son., Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co., Ltd., London, in 1906. This comprehensive guide book to Egypt and the Sudan is in four parts and includes a large fold-out colour Map of Egypt and Sinai in a pocket at the back of the book, 7 fold-out colour maps, and numerous b/w illustrations, many of which are full-page.
Black soft leather boards with rounded edges and gilt lettering on the front board and spine. Minor wear to the leather. Yellow endpapers with name label and name of previous owner on the front endpapers. Minor tears to fold-out maps repaired on margins with blank tape, Maps overall very good. Front hinge slightly cracked but all pages are firm and clean and the book is in very good condition.
