Description:
A magnificent and heavy antique silver-plated jardinière (table centerpiece / cachepot) designed in the opulent French Rococo (Louis XV) taste. This exceptional Belle Époque masterpiece, dating to circa 1900, features finely detailed asymmetrical rocaille motifs, pierced openwork reliefs, embossed rose garlands, and elegantly scrolled feet.
A Rare Collector’s Highlight:
This piece is complete with its rare, original metal liner (inner basket). While most liners from this era have been lost or succumbed to corrosion over the decades, this example remains intact, significantly enhancing the desirability and investment value for collectors.
