Carte Yu-Gi-Oh!

The "Exodia" card from the Bandai *Yu-Gi-Oh!* Carddass series, released in 1998, is a highly sought-after premium item among collectors. It maintains strong demand both in Japan and overseas, thanks to its retro design—distinct from the current *Yu-Gi-Oh!* OCG (by Konami)—and the unique game rules of that era. Like the Konami version, the set consists of five parts—Head, Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Leg, and Left Leg—and the sense of accomplishment derived from collecting the complete set fuels its popularity. It stands as a legend among players from that time; because the official Bandai rules imposed no limits on the number of copies of a single card in a deck, players could build astonishing "One-Turn Kill" decks consisting solely of Exodia parts and draw-power cards. Collectors are also drawn to its rarity and distinctive "Purple Back" (or "Old Back") design—which differs from modern *Yu-Gi-Oh!* cards—as well as the unique texture and nostalgia characteristic of the Carddass series.
