France assay mark, late 19th century, 900/000, and same date marker's mark.
Elegant French perfume bottle in silver and cut crystal, distinguished by its refined construction and finely worked decorative details.
The cylindrical crystal body is vertically cut and finished at the base with a starburst motif. The upper section is mounted in silver and decorated throughout with a delicate guilloché engine-turned pattern, complemented by an engraved laurel-leaf border on the top.
The bottle incorporates an interesting internal perfume mechanism with a long dip tube. A small lateral screw cap, attached to the body by its original safety chain, adds both character and functionality to the piece.
The silver elements bear hallmarks, visible in the photographs, consistent with its French origin.
A particularly elegant example of vintage French dressing-table and travel accessories, combining the decorative quality of cut crystal with finely worked silver.
