Verdant Embrace is a unique original painting by contemporary artist Samia Kerkeni, exploring the relationship between organic movement, colour, matter and emotion.
At the centre of the composition, sweeping green forms twist, overlap and converge in a fluid movement reminiscent of leaves carried by an invisible current. Sage green, deep botanical tones and luminous white interact with a delicate blush-pink ground crossed by gestures of mauve and burgundy.
At the point where these forms meet, the subtle silhouette of a heart begins to emerge.

Born in 1980, Samia Kerkeni is a contemporary artist, doctor and researcher whose practice explores matter, colour, movement and light.
Her research background brings a spirit of observation and continuous experimentation to her artistic work. Inspired by natural forces, organic structures and invisible currents, she creates compositions in which abstraction remains deeply connected to sensations found in the natural world.
Rather than reproducing nature, Kerkeni translates its energy into gesture, texture and chromatic relationships. Verdant Embrace belongs to her Botanical Abstraction series, in which organic forms become vehicles for exploring transformation, harmony, vitality and emotional connection.
Her work is represented internationally by Abstract Art Gallery, Riga, Latvia.
