In 1875, Joseph Bulova, a young immigrant from Bohemia, opened a small jewellery shop in New York. From these humble beginnings, Bulova went on to introduce the world’s first radio and television watch commercials, and in 1971 a Bulova watch even accompanied the Apollo 15 mission to the Moon. For 150 years, Bulova has been writing its own chapter in the history of American watchmaking.
The BVA Series is Bulova’s tribute to the art of mechanical watchmaking. Through the open heart on the dial, you can watch the balance wheel beat. The exhibition case back reveals the rotor as it winds the movement. Every time you wear it, you can feel the mechanism come to life on your wrist.
