Profilo breve
Sono nata in Suriname, Sud America, e porto dentro di me una ricca eredità culturale: Surinamesi, Indonesiana, Africana e Olandese. Sono cresciuta nei Paesi Bassi, circondata dall'eredità dei vecchi maestri olandesi — in una terra dove Vermeer e Rembrandt non sono mai lontani.
Un incarico per un marchio di profumi mi portò una volta a Venezia. Lì sono stata profondamente colpita dall'arte barocca, dall'architettura e dalla storia stratificata della città. quell'esperienza ha acceso qualcosa di profondo in me e è diventata una fonte duratura di ispirazione che ancora plasma la mia visione artistica oggi.
Il mio processo creativo è accuratamente costruito e profondamente multidisciplinare. Creo i miei set con grande attenzione ai dettagli, incorporando altre mie passioni artistiche: disegno a carbone, lavorazione dell'oro, tessuti e avanzata manipolazione fotografica. Ogni pezzo che creo mette insieme tutti questi elementi in un'espressione coesa.

Il suo processo creativo è attentamente strutturato e altamente multidisciplinare. Costruisce set elaborati con particolare attenzione ai dettagli e integra le sue altre passioni artistiche: disegno a carboncchio, lavorazione con l’oro, tessuti e fotoritocco avanzato. In poco tempo ha vinto numerosi premi internazionali rinomati: il PX3 Prix de la Photographie de Paris, Gold, nella categoria completa delle arti visive professionali; Gold award al Trierenberg Supercircuit - categoria emozioni; e è stata nominata ambasciatrice della Tolleranza.
Ha partecipato a diverse esposizioni fotografiche a New York, nei Paesi Bassi, in Cina, Polonia, Francia, Italia ed ha avuto diverse mostre museali e in gallerie sia nazionali sia internazionali.
