On the label:
El Alma is a special and limited edition of Ron Zacapa 23. A blend of rums of different ages and profiles, further aged for a second time in charred ex-American whiskey casks. These casks have been charred and exposed to flames that reach deep within the grain to ignite and extract the attributes of the wood, and the essence of nature. It imparts the rum with uniquely deep toasted notes, as enigmatic as our volcanic surroundings. The taste gives a hint of roasted almonds, cinnamon and sweet toffee, as rich as the heart of the land that surrounds us.
