Cartier Vendôme Santos eyeglass frames, size 59-16-140, crafted in France in the 1980s. The frame is finished in 22kt heavy gold plating and represents one of Cartier’s most iconic vintage designs. The Vendôme Santos became a true symbol of 1980s luxury and style, famously worn by Michael Douglas in the movie Wall Street. The aviator double bridge design combined with the unmistakable Cartier details make this frame a highly desirable collector’s piece. The engraving on the temple shows “Cartier Paris – Made in France” while the bridge is marked with Cartier 59 -16.
