A De Porceleyne Fles finely painted decorative tile depicting a young lady knitting whilst seated with the open sea in the background - from a painting by Constant Artz.
With Joost Thooft & Labouchere impressed stamp on rear and year code K for 1889.
Artist initials for (probably) G.C.Kunz.
Mounted in original metal frame with hanging ring.
Size c.20cm x 20cm.
In very good condition for it's age, with usual age-related craquele and minor stains - but no visible damage or restoration.
