Armadilly, pseudonym of Camilla Cesarini, was born in Pesaro on 24th April, 1995. In 2018 attained a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, with a focus on Comic and Illustration. After a period in London, she returns to Italy. In Rome, in November 2021 she debuts with the solo exhibition Loves me, loves me not... curated by Gemma Gulisano, at the historic Fidia Galleria Arte Moderna. Armadilly has distinguished herself in the emerging art scene with participation in valuable exhibition projects, to name a few: the double solo with Giosetta Fioroni (Armadilly - Fioroni: due generazioni pink pop a confronto, Roma Arte in Nuvola, Convention Center La Nuvola, November 2021); the 6th edition of Contextile 2022 - Contemporary Textile Art Biennial in Guimarães, Portugal, in 2022, rewarded with the Acquisition Prize in favour of ATP - Associação Têxtil E Vestuário de Portugal; the group show for the event Quattrocantesimo, curated by Roberto Bilotti Ruggi D’Aragona (Palazzo Costantino, Palermo, 13th, 14th and 15th July 2024).
