DESCRIPTION
In the eighties, Gonçalo Sarmento, a professional chef, acquired the Meta dos Leitões Restaurant, located in the heart of Bairrada.
With dynamism and an entrepreneurial attitude, he gave his personal touch to the production of the renowned Bairrada Roasted Leitão.
With art and passion, he introduced Seafood Soup and Seafood Paella as new additions to regional cuisine.
Over the course of four decades, he projected the region both in terms of restaurants and the wine sector. In this context, the company Casa de Sarmento emerged, covering several areas of activity, the result of commitment and dedicated work.

EXTRACTION PROCESS
Superior olive oil obtained directly from olives, using only mechanical processes.
