Matured in bourbon casks in coastal warehouses on the Isle of Skye, this whisky was then finished in a spectacular port cask combination – ruby, white, and tawny port casks impart a multifaceted depth of fruit, sweetness, and tannin. Bottled at a robust 59.7% ABV, it blends classic Talisker maritime spice with salty air notes, smoke, and a delicate fruitiness. As always with Talisker, no chill filtration or added coloring has been used – a full-bodied, characterful cask-strength dram.
