The first thing that strikes you when you meet Antony Squizzato is the timbre of his voice, an absolutely soft, elegant voice, a timbre that creates immediate confidence. A huge fan of modern art, he is also a wellspring of culture concerning all the currents of contemporary art. In this respect, Squizzato deliberately places himself in a current known as “New Constructivism”. His ultra-mastered, highly constructed painting is nonetheless a form of onirism; it is an allegory that does not speak its name. He took on major themes, such as “kissing”, and developed this theme ad infinitum, thus creating his allegories! However, Squizzato is not content to paint with acrylics, push him, and he ventures into lands in which the influence of American realist painting appears.
A primeira coisa que impressiona ao conhecer Antony Squizzato é o timbre de sua voz, uma voz absolutamente suave e elegante, um timbre que transmite confiança imediata. Fã incondicional de arte moderna, ele é também uma fonte de cultura sobre todas as correntes da arte contemporânea. Nesse sentido, Squizzato posiciona-se deliberadamente em uma corrente conhecida como “Novo Construtivismo”. Sua pintura ultraconstruída e altamente trabalhada é, no entanto, uma forma de onirismo; é uma alegoria que não diz o próprio nome. Assumiu temas centrais, como “beijo”, e desenvolveu esse tema ao infinito, criando assim suas alegorias!
