Cătălin Alexandru Chifan was born on July 2, 1980 in Suceava, Romania. Doctoral professor and plastic artist at the “Ciprian Porumbescu Art College Suceava”, member of UAP Romania since 2004.
-2012 Doctorate in decorative arts and design, “George Enescu” University of Art Iaşi, Faculty of Fine Arts, Decorative Arts and Design with the work THE SYMBOL OF THE HAND IN THE PLASTIC ARTS, class of master Liviu Suhar.

Between 2004 and 2025 he participated in numerous exhibitions both in the country and abroad and in various prestigious art salons. In 2008 he represented Romania at the International Art Festival in Monastir-Tunisia alongside artists from all over the world. In 2013 he participated in the International Art Festival in Patras-Greece where he stood out alongside artists from all over the world. In 2014 he was invited to Milan (Italy) - Palazzo Cousani to an international exhibition in which visual artists from all over the world participated.
During 2021-2022 he took online courses at the prestigious Hollywood animation studios – Disney-Pixar. Starting with 2022 he made his first short animated film ’’The Magic Apple and the Path to Light’’, being appreciated with several awards in India and the Middle East (Bahrain). In 2024 he made his first full-length animated film entitled ’’Nefertiti-Queen of Hearts’’ which has already been selected at several festivals around the world Lift-Off UK (Great Britain), Lift-Off (New-York) USA and Lift-Off Toronto (Canada). The film received the GRAND TROPHY at the EASTERN EUROPEN FILM FESTIVAL International Film Festival in Craiova (Romania). In 2025 he made the short film ''Nefertiti - The Missing Queen'' a sequel to the film ''Nefertiti Queen of Hearts'' made in 2024 which has currently been sent to several festivals around the world. The films have been recognized globally by publishing their reviews on the IMDB website. In recent years he has participated in cultural shows on TV Plus Suceava where he spoke about the importance brought by great artists to universal culture.
