A bold, beautifully structured red. These few words would suffice to describe the elegant Montefalco DOC Rosso from La Veneranda. Made from 65% Sangiovese, 25% Sagrantino, and the remaining Merlot, this Umbrian red has all the makings to delight anyone who chooses it to complement a dinner or lunch with friends, featuring grilled food. It is made using traditional stainless steel vinification. Contact with the skins lasts for approximately 15 to 20 days, at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over to allow the grapes to release their full color and rich tannins into the wine. After fermentation and racking, the final aging process is also carried out exclusively in stainless steel tanks. The result is a wine characterized by a beautiful, deep ruby color.
