I am offering in this auction a vintage tube radio from one of the German brands, Loewe opta 4720W manufactured in 1959. The device is in very good external condition with only minor signs of use, as clearly shown in the photos. I connected the radio to the power supply, and the scale lamps went on. However, I noticed a smell coming from the unit, so I switched it off immediately and did not turn it on again. The dial cord and tuning needle move smoothly and completely. Note: The volume control knob is stuck. I removed the back cover and took photos of the interior to show its original condition.
