Viktoria Farkas - Dancing in the light - XXL

Opfanget i den stille ensomhed i en tidlig New York-morgen rammer dette sort-hvide photographiske billede et flygtigt øjeblik af nåde ved Bethesda Terrace i Central Park’s ikoniske omgivelser. De storslåede Minton-flisearkade skaber en kraftfuld silhuet, der trækker blikket mod en ensom danser hænger i et øjeblik af elegant bevægelse. Samspillet mellem dybe skygger og den bløde morgensol fremhæver terrace’ets indviklede arkitektur og danserens æteriske form, og skaber en komposition, der er tidløs og dybt personlig.

Dette fotografi er et fejret bidrag i den visuelle selvbiografi bog, Lens and Life, udgivet i maj 2024. Det har modtaget flere internationale priser og anerkendelser for sin fængende fortælling og kreative komposition.

Valgt to gange af den anerkendte kurator Tom Bourdon, og det var også en del af hans Live Photo Analysis Workshop.
