These elegant pieces belong to the Hambourg model, designed by Charles Graffart and illustrated in the Val Saint Lambert catalogue of 1913. The geometric diamond-point pattern, scalloped rim and architectural foot perfectly reflect the transition from late Art Nouveau towards the emerging Art Deco aesthetic. The set consists of three matching pieces in different sizes: Large bowl : approximately 5 cm x 24cm x 17,5cm 787 gram. Smaller bowl : approximately 4,8cm x 21,5cm x 16cm this one is signed Val Saint Lambert. Cake stand on high foot : 12,5cm high, 24cm diameter top, 11,5cm diameter foot. 940 gram.
