A striking sculptural "Moon" table lamp in a vibrant and rare blue colour, attributed to KARE Design, Germany. The design draws direct inspiration from the iconic "Moon" lamp conceived by Danish master Verner Panton in 1960, perfectly capturing the futuristic language of the Space Age movement and the visual experimentation of Op Art. Constructed with flexible concentric pvc fins mounted inside a sturdy, round chromed metal frame, the lamp allows for customizable light distribution. When illuminated, the layered structure creates captivating light effects, soft shadows, and dynamic perspectives depending on the viewing angle. Good original condition with minimal signs of age and fully functional. (E27 standard socket).
