It is known that the Lagavulin 26 years is matured in a mix of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, which together makes this a true taste sensation. The aroma is powerful with rich notes of sherry sweetness, smoke and peat. This develops into hints of figs that give it a tasty depth. Oily and warming in taste with an unmistakable sherry sweetness. Hints of salt, pepper, smoke and peat are also present.
