A large and finely executed 18th-century copperplate engraving depicting a dramatic allegorical female figure—possibly representing divine love, seduction, or penitence—rendered in striking detail with dynamic drapery and expressive emotion. Below the image are Latin poetic verses, and the engraver is signed G. Edelinck sculp. cum Priv. Regis, suggesting a connection to the Flemish-French engraver Gérard Edelinck or his circle.
