French violin making flourished in the workshops of Mirecourt, where generations of artisans developed a distinctive tone and visual refinement. Constructed with a two-piece flamed maple back, matching ribs, and a finely grained spruce top. The golden-brown oil varnish reveals a transparent depth that enhances the natural figure of the wood.
