Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
In this portrait, Bivaga captures the silent radiance of a young desert muse — a figure poised between myth and memory. Her gaze is steady yet elusive, as if she carries within her the echo of an untold story, a secret shaped by wind, sun, and ancient lineage.
The delicate turquoise and gold of her garment shimmer against the soft chiaroscuro, while the ornate headpiece crowns her with a quiet authority that feels timeless. Every strand of hair lifted by an unseen breeze, every glint of jewellery touched by light, invites the viewer into a world where history becomes breath and beauty becomes presence.
There is serenity here, but also strength — the kind that doesn’t demand attention, only deserves it.

About the artist:
Agatino Bivona, known artistically as Bivaga, was born in Biancavilla, Sicily, in 1972 and currently lives and works in Adrano. A pupil and close confidant of master Antonio Sciacca, Bivaga began his artistic journey at a young age and has spent over three decades refining his unmistakable visual language. His hyperrealistic portraits, rich in symbolism and emotional nuance, have been featured in major exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Celebrated in critical publications such as I Grandi Maestri (2009), and reviewed by prominent art critics like Nicola Villari and Alfredo Pasolino, Bivaga’s works are held in private collections across Europe, the United States, and Japan — carrying fragments of Sicilian elegance far beyond its borders.
