A large bronze bust of a beautiful lady with a little bird on her arm.
Hippolyte Moreau (1832-1927): "L'Aurore." Bronze proof with a shaded reddish-brown patina.
Aurore by H. Moreau (gold medal). A young woman, dressed in a sheet that suggests her nudity, appears to rise from a bank of clouds. In one hand, she holds her sheet, and on her arm, a bird.
