Description from the seller

Beautiful set of two Ruscha Art items. Vase model 313 and lantern model 1011.

A high-quality ceramic art vase in the shape of a pitcher was designed in West Germany by the renowned ceramist Kurt Tschörner for the Ruscha ceramics manufactory in the 1960s. The sculptural model of vessel no. 313 is glazed with a rare marble finish called fat lava. Natural earthy tones—copper pink blending into graphite, grays, and beiges—create soft, irregular transitions that mimic mineral deposits.
Ideal stand, height approximately 16cm, diameter approximately 17cm.

Lampion model 1011 is a stunning and unique collectible West German ceramic from the mid-20th century by Ruscha Art. Its color scheme matches that of the vase, making both items a perfect pair of matching decorations. The Fat Lava glaze on the lampion is applied to an exceptional Swiss gourd-shaped jug with a handle. The open back allows for placing a candle inside, and the holes enable the light to create a warm atmosphere in the room. 1960s.
Ideal stand, approximately 26 cm in height, approximately 18 cm in diameter.
