Edward Kienholz (Fairfield, Washington, October 23, 1927 – Idaho, June 10, 1994) was an American artist specializing in installations. His work was highly critical of various aspects of modern life. From 1972 until his death, he produced numerous works in collaboration with his wife, Nancy Reddin Kienholz. These works are generically identified as “Kienholz.”
