Heuer nickel open-face pocket watch with two-tone dial, column-wheel chronograph, hand-wound movement, Swiss circa 1890, over 50 mm case diameter, 66.3 mm with crown, 89.1 g, very good condition with minor wear, in working order and shipped insured.

HEUER
Edouard Heuer (* 1840 in Brügg, Canton of Bern; † April 30, 1892) was a Swiss watchmaker.
Heuer, the son of a shoemaker, founded the watch manufacturing company Heuer in 1860 in Saint-Imier in the Swiss Jura. In 1864, he relocated the company to Biel. By 1876, he had established a branch in London. Starting in 1880, he was the first watchmaker to produce chronographs in series production.
After the merger with the Techniques d’Avant Garde TAG Group in 1985, the company was renamed TAG Heuer.
Nickel case
Silvered two-tone dial. Dial with fine Arabic numerals in black and an outer running connected seconds and minutes track with inner Arabic 5-minute numerals. 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock. Small seconds above 6 o'clock. Built time hands with ring inlay and large blued stop hand. Signed in the 30-minute counter HEUER. Very good condition with no flaws.

Case back with a smooth finish, also smooth on the inside - 142627
Pot lid with a smooth exterior and decorative pattern inside.
Fine silver-colored movement with decorative polishing. Anchor escapement, chatons, and gold wheels - high-quality movement construction. In-house caliber.
Work and chronograph functions are operational.
Tightly closing lids
Watch diameter without pendant 51mm. With pendant and crown 66.3mm - total weight 89.1g.
The watch is in very good overall condition. The dial is also in very good condition.
