Hermès - pair of plates from the series 'Chiens courants & Chiens d’arrêt', with the 'Hermès Porcelaine Paris', 'Hermès Paris France' mark in light gray on the base of the plates.
This pair of plates belongs to a Hermès production service with octagonal shapes that was specifically designed only for Hermès. The decorations depict dogs, both 'running' and 'pointing,' surrounded by the game they are hunting. The dogs are framed by a yellow maize band that highlights the country style of these porcelains.
This pair of dishes consists of one dessert plate (diameter 21 cm) and one coffee/tea plate (diameter 16 cm). The plates are in almost perfect condition (the photos are an integral part of the description), except for a slight chip on the underside of the dessert plate, which, as shown in the photos, is completely invisible when the plate is placed on the table, leaving the decorated part entirely intact.
