Description from the seller

Pages 1128 (numbered 564)
Conservation is more than good. Essentially fresh, with some rare spots of foxing and minimal browning of the paper. Beautiful antique binding. The only defect is on the last page, which shows signs of aging and some slight missing parts.

Celebrated work by the humanist and Latinist Ambrogio Calepio (1435-1511). With an appendix added by Paolo Manuzio, a typographer and humanist (1512-1574), son of Aldo Manuzio.
