If you know Universal Genève, you know why collectors smile: this is one of the great historic Swiss names—famous for icons like the Compax chronographs (introduced in the 1930s) and the Polerouter, designed by Gérald Genta and launched in 1954. Universal Genève’s heritage is deep, respected, and currently back in the spotlight as the brand is being revived under Breitling’s ownership. 

Offered here is a stunning, elegant Universal Genève quartz dress watch in New Old Stock condition—never worn—and the dream scenario for collectors: a full set (box + papers/cards), complete with the original hang tag/seal.

The watch is all about refined contrast: a black guilloché (concentric) dial, minimalist two-hand layout, and stone-set hour markers (including a larger marker at 12). Clean, symmetrical, and very “UG”.

A special collector detail: the caseback still carries the original “Water Resistant – Triple Seal Protected” sticker. Universal Genève promoted a “Triple Seal” water-resistance system around the quartz-era collections (notably shown in period industry coverage).
