In the mid-1970s Hamilton’s Swiss arm in Genève created a line of ultra-slim rectangular dress watches together with the Fürstenberg family – the German princely dynasty behind fashion designer Egon von Fürstenberg, the prince who became an international playboy and style icon of the era. Those Hamilton × Von Fürstenberg pieces were worn in the same jet-set circles as his former wife Diane von Fürstenberg’s wrap dresses.

This watch comes from that very design programme: a Hamilton Genève rectangular tank with the same long, architectural case and dial layout as the co-signed Von Fürstenberg models, powered by the correct Swiss manual-wind Hamilton calibre 732.
