With the fitting name 'NEW MOON', this model features an elegant, fully black color scheme. It has a Bioceramic case, crown, and pushers, and a VELCRO strap. The chronograph seconds hand, the hands on the subdial, and the tachymeter scale on the bezel are white. The subdials and the background of the bezel are black. This model stands out for its black moonphase function, perhaps the most poetic of all watch complications. Snoopy has been associated with space travel for over 50 years and is depicted on the moonphase disc that rotates within the subdial at 2 o'clock. Under UV light, a hidden quote from a Snoopy comic strip is revealed between crescent moons and stars on the unique subdial. All dials feature the OMEGA X SWATCH logo, the iconic Speedmaster logo, and the new MoonSwatch logo. The rectangular construction of biosourced glass, the engraved 'S' in the center of the glass referencing the Swatch logo, the fine and refined circular pattern on the outer ring of the dial, and the recessed subdials, the elegant lugs, the iconic 'dot over 90' detail on the Bioceramic bezel with tachymeter scale, and of course the unique Bioceramic feel are common to all models. The indices, hour and minute hands, and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are equipped with Grade A Super-LumiNova for perfect visibility in the dark.
