Description from the seller
Item Description:
This is a stunning Arita ware porcelain vase by Fukagawa Seiji (深川製磁), one of Japan's most prestigious porcelain manufacturers with a history dating back to 1894. The vase is masterfully decorated with large peony flowers rendered in gradient shades of white and pale blue, set against a brilliant cobalt blue ground (ruri-yū). The fine outlines of the leaves and petals are delicately traced in gold, giving the piece an exquisite and luxurious finish.
The porcelain body is smooth and refined, with an elegant silhouette that gently curves from the narrow base to a rounded shoulder and flared mouth rim, finished with a gold accent. The underside bears the blue mark of the Fukagawa kiln, confirming its authenticity.
This piece exemplifies the harmony of classic Japanese floral motifs with the refined craftsmanship of Arita porcelain, making it both a valuable decorative object and a collectible artwork. Ideal for interior decoration or as a centerpiece.
