Oil painting, signed Heinrich Franz Gaudenz von Rustige (1810-1900). Oil on canvas, framed. Good condition, frame with signs of aging. Photos are part of the condition description. Dated 1871.
The work shows a landscape with two young ladies taking a break. In their basket, they have discovered an unexpected love message, which they are now excitedly discussing. The messenger of the message—a young gentleman—has slipped behind the ladies into the bushes and is now eagerly listening to see how his message will be received.
Dimensions: 87 x 79 cm (frame); 62 x 55 cm (canvas).
Note: The frame is considered a free accessory. Damage during shipping cannot be excluded despite careful packaging and therefore cannot be considered in the event of a complaint.
