Silver cruet stand by Johan Georg Meijer Sr. (Amsterdam), dated around 1858, in 934/1000 silver, total weight 1967.5 g with an estimated silver content of about 500 g, featuring a silver holder with lobed chased forms, a handle leading to two crystal glass holders with lids, a foot with acanthus-fretwork and four shell‑shaped feet, and a wooden base cap, dimensions 28.5 × 22.2 × 12.5 cm, in good condition with minor chips on the lower rim of the glass lids.

Description: A very beautiful acid lamp, made with a silver holder featuring fluted, engraved shapes. The handle extends into two holders, each containing a crystal glass holder with a lid. The base is finished with scalloped edges and stands on four shell-shaped feet. Very elegant model, and the underside is equipped with a wooden panel.
Origin: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Silversmith: Johan Georg Meijer senior
Year: 1858
Proof marks: standing lion 1, Minerva A (Amsterdam office), master mark (JGM under a terrine), year letter Y.
State: in good condition, light chips on the lower edge of the glass covers (not disturbing and visible when they sit on the holders).
Total weight: 1967.5 grams
