Expressive African depiction of the Holy Family, completely hand-carved from dark wood. The scene shows Mary and Joseph around the infant Jesus, while two angels watch over the birth from above. On the right stands a figure symbolically representing the Three Wise Men, and on the left, a shepherd. The compact composition, stylized faces, and clear local interpretation of Christian motifs give the work a spiritual intensity characteristic of African religious art from the colonial period.

The sculpture is approximately 28 cm tall and is in good, authentic condition with light signs of use and age.
