The BeoLink Converter NL / ML is the bridge between the new Network Link and the well-known Master Link. Music and commands are transmitted digitally via Network Link—based on Ethernet technology—and the Master Link uses analog music distribution. Therefore, a form of conversion between the two technologies is necessary when music needs to cross the connections.

Following a Master Link setup, the BeoLink Converter NL / ML takes on the role of video master and can distribute the available sources on the Master Link. An audio master must be available, as the BeoLink Converter NL / ML cannot be a power master in the Master Link.

The product is continuously ready and does not need to be started up when conversion is required.
It can be mounted horizontally on the wall bracket.

The installation is carried out on the product's webpage (product's IP address). When using a direct connection to a PC, the product can be found at the standard local IP address 169.254.11.22.
