Antique Baccarat Bamboo Bambou bottle from France, made of crystal glass with selenium oxide, 15.5 cm high, 7.5 cm diameter, 440 g, dating to ca. 1890–1910 in the Belle Époque Art Nouveau Bamboo style, with an original copper stopper, signed and numbered 100, in very good condition.
Description from the seller
Rare antique Baccarat bottle from the Bamboo collection (French: Bambou), made in France in the late 19th century / early 20th century – circa 1890–1910 (Belle Époque). This collection is known for its distinctive twisted rib structure, inspired by bamboo and influenced by Art Nouveau and Japonisme from that period.
This specimen is exceptionally rare. While almost all known Bamboo/Bambou models feature a glass stopper, this piece has an original copper cap. This deviation is very rare and makes this specimen exceptional within Baccarat's production. The combination of the bottle and the original metal cap in this condition is difficult to find.
The vase is made of clear crystal glass with a deep ruby-red color transition and refined internal structures. The glass exhibits a rich play of light, characteristic of early Baccarat quality. The piece is signed and numbered 100.
Condition: very good. No chips, no cracks, and no restorations. The cap is intact and fitting.
