The 2000 vintage is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bordeaux years of the last decades, and L’Évangile 2000 stands among the very finest wines of the appellation.

Located adjacent to Pétrus, the vineyard benefits from the same exceptional clay-gravel terroir that defines the most sought-after Pomerol wines. The blend is dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth, finesse, and longevity.

Tasting notes:
Complex and fully mature bouquet of black cherry, plum, truffle, cigar box, cocoa, leather, and forest floor. The palate is rich yet silky, with beautifully resolved tannins, excellent balance, and a long, elegant finish. A classic, aristocratic Pomerol at or near its peak drinking window.
