Description from the seller
Beautiful stately vintage lamps, in a neoclassical Hollywood Regency style with a cup-shaped shade. Stunning pieces, for example, for placing on a mantelpiece.
Date range 1970 - 1980
L.M. is likely an abbreviation for La Milagrosa as the manufacturer, with a product sticker on the bottom of both lamps. They are made of a soft natural stone, alabaster. These alabaster lamps originate from Spain, where the alabaster was mined in quarries in the provinces of Zaragoza and Teruel (Aragón). The production took place in workshops in Sarral (Tarragona), among other locations. This type of vintage lamps is generally made from the 1970s to the 1990s. Manufacturers such as A. Pegasan S.L. and La Milagrosa brought these lamps to market during that period.
Both are made with a heavy foot for stability, and the caps are transparent.
Provides a beautiful diffuse light, which you can adjust to your liking with a lampshade.
Albasten lamps are known for their warm, diffuse light that creates a serene atmosphere. They have a 'zen-like' appearance, making them suitable for use in Japandi or minimalist interiors.
Height: 47.5 cm
Diameter foot 16 cm
Diameter of the top of the hood: 20 cm.
Total weight is 9 kilos.
Both feet have veined patterns, a few small dents, and user marks caused by moving or cleaning. One foot has a chip, which has been photographed; see the last photo for this. The lamps have switches. The light bulbs are included, so you can immediately enjoy this beautiful pair. Both lamps are in good working order, as shown in the photos. Please examine the photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
The lamps will be carefully packaged and insured before being shipped to you.
