Micheline MASSE (1932–2017)
Discreet but consistent French artist Micheline Masse has developed a body of work deeply attached to landscapes and peaceful everyday scenes. Active mainly in the second half of the 20th century, she favors painting, a medium in which she produces sensitive work, often marked by soft light and a soothing composition.
His paintings — river landscapes, houses by the riverbank, village views, or bouquets of flowers — testify to a careful, almost intimate gaze on nature and rural atmospheres. Some of his works, like Paysage fauve or Vue de Saint-Tropez, display a brighter palette, revealing a strong color sensitivity.
